What is the Fit Pit?

The Fit Pit is best described as personal training in a group setting. The coaches offer individual attention and instruction during all workouts, keeping you safe and challenged. The workouts are planned in advance, with the purpose of preventing the "What will I do at the gym today?" or the equally ineffective routine of doing the same ol' thing. You don't need to know what to do or how to do it when you come to the Fit Pit—you just need to show up.

The group setting not only makes the classes more fun, but also it gives you the support and the accountability of a team, including:

  • Harder work through a sense of competition. (I can't possibly stop—nobody else is!)
  • Accountability. (If I miss a workout, they will ask where the heck I was!)
  • Camaraderie. Believe us, you will never work this hard alone in your basement or garage.
  • Instant friends. Within just a few workouts, you'll come to see the people just as much as what the "Workout of the Day" is.

At The Fit Pit, we belong to a community that is caring, genuine, and dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle. You're just as likely to make friends at The Fit Pit as you are to obtain results from the workouts.

Members participate in local 5K road races, post-Pit parties and pizza Fridays, post-Pit breakfasts after Sunday morning workouts and more. The people who come to The Fit Pit are the kind of people who will do the workout a second time, so you won't have to do it alone. They will encourage you during a workout and cheer for (or sometimes even yell at) you when you're going after your one-rep max.
